It is not necessary that one must have
answers for every question.
Sometimes you try to answer a question
which is meant for others.
So, every job interview is not meant for
you. It’s ok, just learn to accept this fact.
Let me share an incident,
When I was an HR, there were vacancies for
B.tech students but the problem was, client’s company required at least three
months of experience.
As per the newspaper advertisement from our
company, many fresher appeared for the interview.
A group of five candidates all from same
college appeared for it, I knew I have to say no, but those candidates were
very enthusiastic and optimistic.
two of them were very good, answered all
questions, I even asked manager if he can do anything, but the prerequisite was
experience of three months.
When I told this to those two candidates
they became furious, which was obvious, as they were ready for every test.
So what I did, I asked them the most
difficult questions of mechanical engineering, engineering physics, out of five
questions they could not answer even one.
Now let's come to the facts-
● According to them they were not prepared
much for those tough questions
● According to manager candidates did not
have at least three moths of experience.
● According to me, I was helpless, I made
them realize that they are not qualified enough for the job.
That day I realized that it’s not always us
who don’t have the solution of problem, may be we were not meant to solve them.
One month later, I called them for another
job vacancy, but was glad to know that they have already got a job in an
organization with better package (which we were offering for three months
experienced).
Now consider this situation for other
aspects of life. One will surely learn that one must give 100%, but it’s ok if
results are not up to the mark. Life will throw many opportunities, one should
always welcome them with open hand.
Never lose confidence.
Just believe in yourself. These
opportunities are just like milestones on a journey ... Won't get them if you
stop.
At Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhayay ManagementCollege, we provide best placement for BBA & BCA , we prepare our students to confront as many
opportunities, so that when the right job for them arrives, it won't slip out
of their hands.
Different activities, events, mock
interviews, mock GDs, etc. are conducted to give best exposure to our students.
These activities help students to have courage to stop at nothing and to
continue for upcoming opportunities.
Once again ponder over the thought that,
what will you do if you get rejected... Will you stop appearing for other
opportunities just because that place was
not meant for you… or… you will
continue your journey and pass all these milestones and get experience from
every road, so that when you reach to your destination you are one confident
student.
Remember... Success is not final and
failure is not fatal. Always have courage to accept a no as the reason
can be other factors also which are not related to you. Don't be afraid of
failures, fear the absence of progress.
